Champagne cellars in Epernay
Located in the heart of the vineyards, Epernay is internationally known as the "Capital of Champagne".
A treasure beneath our feet!
The town centre of Epernay is rich in history. Avenue de Champagne is the finest demonstration of this. It is lined by many nineteenth century mansions of Renaissance or classical style, housing the headquarters of prestigious Champagne houses like Moët et Chandon, Perrier-Jouët, Mercier, De Castellane, etc.

At a height of 60 m, Castellane Tower offers fabulous views over Epernay and the vineyards.

In Epernay, the real spectacle is to be seen underground, in the cellars. No holiday here would be complete without a visit to the cellars of the great Champagne houses. The panoramic elevator leading to the Mercier vaults is a real attraction all by itself.
Over 100 km of tunnels dug into the chalk house the priceless treasures of these Champagne houses... It is what dreams are made of!
