Mouzon: the gardens of the Abbey
The gardens at the foot of the ancient Abbey of Mouzon were once used by the monks who prayed here but also grew their vegetables, fruits and herbs. Converted into a civil hospice in 1789 and now the Mouzon retirement home, the former abbey has conserved its kitchen garden, which over the years has been transformed into a classical pleasure garden.
Originality:
The Association des Amis du Patrimoine de Mouzon organises guided tours of the gardens, which each year are adorned with a different floral theme dreamt up by the gardener of the old people’s home.

Every day, all year long.
