Arts and Literature
Many famous men and women have left their stamp on the history of art and literature in Champagne-Ardenne.
Museums here illustrate the life of the painter Renoir in Essoyes, the poets Verlaine and Rimbaud in Charleville-Mézières and Juniville, the philosophers Diderot and Voltaire in Cirey-sur-Blaise and Langres and the sculptors Alfred Boucher and Camille Claudel in Nogent-sur-Seine.
