Heritage Discovery Tour:
Apart from its medieval castle and its Romanesque church, which are listed buildings, Vignory boasts many other unusual architectural sights that you will be able to discover during this tour through the town’s narrow streets, which includes 22 heritage features.
The Castle Ruins:
The ruins of the Keep (12th century), the Tour aux Puits (Well Tower, 15th century) and the ramparts are situated on the spur which overlooks the village. They are visible and accessible throughout the year.
The Romanesque Church:
A very beautiful 11th century Romanesque church which has a collection of 15th century statues from the sculpture workshop of Vignory-Joinville.
The Medieval Garden:
During the season, a medieval garden with free access is visible in the hamlet of Val Noise.
The History and Heritage Association Museum:
This museum exhibits models of the castle and the village as well as replicas of medieval war weapons.
The 18th century house:
An 18th century house of which the interior decoration has been restored. The alcove near the chimney in the living room is typical of rural Champagne-region style houses. The tools of the master carpenter who used to live there are also displayed.
