- With over 150 original paper documents shown (sixty children's books and many posters, posters, catalogs, toys, paper, postcards ...), the exhibition aims to show the mechanisms of propaganda against youngest people where, during the years 1914 - 1918, the culture of war to the use of children was applied everywhere: school, church, recreation, toys and games that are sweeping away the space of dreams and the essential imagination of children. Similarly, in books and magazines for children, sense of duty and sacrifice is put forward. Sometimes very rare and often of great artistic quality, these documents are signed by the greatest designers of the time: Guy Arnoux, Benito, Devambez, Hansi, Andre Helle, Lepape Lucien Laforge Gaston Marechaux, Jean Lurçat Picart Le Doux, Poulbot, Ray, Charlotte Schaller, Vallotton ... They almost always targeted children themselves. This exhibition own to ask questions about the condition of the child and his status, is aimed at both adults and children today. This exhibition will be accompanied by commentary, children's workshops, meetings with authors and conference visits. Mediatheques Jean Falala Laon and Zola
