Centenary of the Great War: exhibition " the Fire: Boucq illustrates Barbusse. "

Cultural ,  Commemoration ,  Exhibition ,  Historic at Reims

  • As part of the centenary of the Great War, come and meet the work of Bourcq François and Henri Barbusse in this superb exhibition.

Here is a meeting between two men. Meet the chiseled and powerful feature of François Boucq with the raw words, just and slapped with precision of Henri Barbusse. The uniqueness of this exhibition is in its location at the confluence of several records: original watercolors, literary text and documentary records allow us to take a look both didactic and subjective on the war on which almostv everything has been said already. An exhibition designed by Invenit editions around the autobiographical novel of Henri Barbusse published in December 1916, The Fire, which received the Prix Goncourt that year.
