- Formerly called "herbularius", the herb garden was a garden of medicinal plants, often installed near the infirmary monasteries. From thyme to nettle, to chamomile, burdock, marshmallow, horseradish, or savory, plants with virtues sometimes well known, sometimes much less, were cultivated. In Reims, they are these same plants as the one in "Garden of Simple" in Park of Champagne that will (re) discover the garden and will be complemented by a garden of contemplation, reserved for meditation, which will offer visitors a representative sample of trees and vegetables also selected for their benefits.
