The Linard Gonthier Street bears the name of a famous painter-glazier trojan (1566-1641) who was a specialist in grisaille and miniatures on glass (stained glass windows in the Cathedral at St Martin ès Vignes). This street is one of the most picturesque and characteristic of the city of Troyes and houses, among others, two boutique hotels (La Maison de Rhodes and Le Champ des Oiseaux), 2 perfect examples of successful restoration of the fifteenth and heritage XVIth century.
