Free admission. Joelle Beurier. The conflict shakes the whole society in its most intimate corner. The boundaries of gender are also affected. The women are men's work and some are even on the forehead, sometimes as combatants. The soldier, despite them changing ways of fighting, still magnificent hero to all. Only men from the back, male non-combatants feel inferior. They live a mutilated manhood, are experienced as a subgenre, though they nevertheless remain in control of France.
