  • Famous for his drawings of Montmartre kids during the first half of the twentieth century, Francisque Poulbot (1879-1946) is now almost unknown. Demobilized at the beginning of the First World War because of serious health problems, he puts his pen and his "kids" in the service of the war effort by publishing hundreds of patriotic designs. This exhibition invites you to discover the richness and diversity of the work of war of this talented artist who combines humor and seriousness during a period when the newspaper did not often allow to smile. Exceptional opening and tours for European Heritage Days of the exhibition Saturday, September 20, 2014 (starting at 14h, 14h30 15h and 16h) and Sunday, September 21, 2014 (starting at 14h, 14h30 15h and 15:30.)
