At 17, I naturally practiced shooting with some success. Over time, especially in the woods, I learned to observe and appreciate the beauty around me. The camera began to be part of my equipment, but the choice was materially difficult, in the presence of a “game.” One day, my weapon remained at home, which caused me big problems with other hunters and the fact of being “thrown” after ten years of presence in this cabin. Thank you to them, because without wanting to, they allowed me to hunt in another way with the same pleasure and the same sensations but without violence towards the animals and especially without disturbing the 'fragile balance of their environment. When I retired, I signed up for several courses to learn the basics of photography and the countless possibilities of digital material. To date, the most difficult for me is to sort and eliminate the photos. I also made some trips with other amateur and professional photographers in search of my two favorite animals, the bear and the wolf. In Italy in Abruzzo and recently in Alaska, I made my dream come true, I came back with memories in my head and hundreds of pictures. The photo for me is sharing an emotion, which is what I'm trying to do here. All animals, even the most "common" deserve hours of waiting, of patience to capture an attitude or an expression, like the birds in my garden because I have the chance to live in Vert, in a preserved place (for moment).
