The 2019 edition of the Langres Arts and Crafts Days will take place in the historic district on April 6 and 7 and will bring together hundreds of artisans.
Among these, we will receive about fifty cutlers and scissors for the new version of the cutlery fair, Lames à Langres.
The guest of honor 2019 is the Ecole Boulle: students and professors from the Métiers d'art (marquetry, cabinetmaking ...) will be installed at the Maison des Lumières - Denis Diderot to present, explain and make demonstrations of their know-how.
The work and skill of the upholsterers will also be particularly highlighted during this weekend thanks to the arrival of the PLAB from the Liffol-le-Grand Headquarters which will feature a large exhibition of seats in the trade fairs. City Hall: this collection will be enriched by the presence of several local upholsterers and the exhibition of the museums of Langres evoking the history of the siege of the sixteenth century to the twentieth century.
Ceramists, weavers, goldsmiths, seamstresses, lacemakers, old cabinetmakers, "authorized French museums and historical monuments", wood turner, luthier, stonemasons ... Many other crafts will also be present during this week-end - exceptional: everyone can discover and exchange on the different ancestral techniques and skills necessary for the perfect realization of articles presented in Langres.
To facilitate your movements from one site to another, the City of Langres and its partners will provide you with free shuttles by small train.
