There was, on the banks of the Hudson River west of Manhattan, a large shed that belonged to the old docks. A wealthy businessman is driven in a Jaguar to an abandoned port area. He puts two stones in the pockets of his jacket and jumps into the water. Someone helps him out. What exactly do you want from me? He will not leave. Here people live in the shadows, with them everything can be dealt, car keys, drugs, human beings, the right to live or to die. The deal is the law, what is a credit card in this world without a visa?
Ludovic Lagarde, called by the National Theatre of Athens, chose to present "Quay Ouestt" with Greek actors. The docks of Piraeus may have to be a family resemblance to the threatened destruction of the hangars on the Hudson. With the return to Reims of this play, La Comédie continues with its invitations to major European scènes: Schaubühne Berlin, Toneelgroep of Amsterdam, Budapest Katona.
    Show in Greek, French subtitles.
