Stroll through my hometown looking for the places that saw me grow up. Follow your guide to discover some of the works on the route that bears my name. For Charleville is today a city whose rich cultural life is unquestionable, and which always pays homage to me.

As a precocious child and rebellious teenager, I wrote my very first poems at the age of 15.

I grew up without a father and with a mother as authoritarian as "73 lead cap administrations," but I am a "gifted" and seemingly docile young man.
I was born on October 20, 1854 in Charleville where I soon felt cramped. A small provincial town in the midst of industrial change, it is far from the world of poetry in which I would like to live.
In spite of my "bad" company, I received many prizes and nominations in my institution.

Through my travels and my tumultuous relationship with the poet Verlaine, I forged my legend. Today I am an icon recognized and learned all over the world.
I am Arthur Rimbaud, the young man "with the soles of the wind".
