Gateway to the Lorraine region, Belgium and Luxemburg, this Ardenne city Mouzon has conserved both is history as a border town and its industrial roots manufacturing wool felt. Its Abbey church (12th and 13th century) is a gothic master piece and it’s only remaining fortification the remarkable Tour Porte de Bourgogne (12th century). Over the 17thcentury industry started to
develop. During the 19th and 20th century Mouzon became one of Europe’s most important producers of felt wool. This craft can be discovered today at the Felt museums workshop.
