The Paraclet Abbey is located in Ferreux-Quincey and the memory of Heloise and Abelard continues to haunt these places! The 12th century buildings have disappeared making way for a 17th century abbey home, a cellar for monks from the 16th and 17th centuries and a chapel from the end of the 19th century. The site is private and can be visited exclusively in summer (from July 15 to August 29, 2020), every day from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. (30-minute visits, last visits at 11:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.). CLOSED ON SUNDAY INFORMATION: • The visits are guided • Visit the site of the tomb of Abélard and Heloise in the Abbey park, and the Cellier des Moines. • The buildings cannot be visited, except the vaulted kitchen 12 / 13th centuries (ISMH) and the 17th staircase (ISMH) of the abbey home • Dogs must be kept on a leash • Cars must be parked outside
